Here are the details:
Tuesday, August 11 at 2:15 pm
New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan
60 Centre Street, Room 345, Part 6, Courtroom of Judge Joan B. Lobis
All major subways stop near the Courthouse; closest is the 4/5/6 or R line (Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall), but the 1/2/3 or A/C all work too (Chambers Street).
We urge P.S. 163 parents and students to come show their support and wear school colors (orange and yellow). Signs are not allowed.
Note that the proceeding will, of course, be in a courtroom, and no talking is allowed while court is in session, so children will need to respect this. If your child(ren) talk, please take them out of the courtroom immediately if they are making noise. Also, to enter the courtroom, you will have to pass through security, so give yourself extra time for that.
